Your Child

I've noticed there's only so much a parent can do for their child. 

Like the example in the Qur'an: Prophet Noah's son told him during the great flood 'Father, do not worry. I will go up that mountain and I will be safe'

Unfortunately no one is safe from God's anger. And once your child disobeys you no matter how much you tell them to stop, ground them, or punish them in some sorts. It's only God that can bring them back for you.

Your child will never walk in your footsteps no matter what.

Hopless Freindship

Is there anything that can me done so as to save a breaking heart from the hopeless mistake of a horrid occurrence. 

So to say, is there a way to save an already dead friendship?

Current Dilemma

Allah says in the Qur'an:
What is wrong with you, oh Believers! That you do not go and fight for the cause of Allah when the weak and feeble people are calling out
'Oh Allah! Send people to save us'

What are we doing?

For Me or for Others

I start to question my self whether I live this way because I like it and its for my lord or if its to please other people. Am i doing this for Allah or for the judgmental thoughts of those around me? If so then why am i not fully covered? why do I do one thing in front of my parents and another behind their backs? Is that not the definition of a two faced person? For all the wrong that i have done and continue to do why must it be so hard for me to stay true to myself? I know partly is because of my friends but who are these friends? Yah, i chill with them and i tell them secrets but those secrets are all worldly secrets. I know that when i die i'd have not gotten a single benefiet from the secrets I've shared in life about boys and momentary things. Which then brings me to the fact about my self? Why do I dress this way? I know it's a problem for many sisters. They want to take the step ahead and leap into that soft bundle of protection from the strength of Imaan. But that protection comes with a fee you must pay. You must be a devout Muslim and worship God.

So am I ready? When will I be ready? I just hope it's soon.

The Prophet and Pedophilia

       Romeo and Juliet

Everyone believes that Romeo and Juliet was and still is the greatest romantic tragedy of all time. Romeo was seventeen when he fell in love with thirteen year old Juliet. Doesn’t this make Romeo a pedophile because by definition pedophilia is when an adult or someone from the age of sixteen develops feelings (loving) for a child the ages thirteen and below. That is the exact border of when it is and isn’t Pedophilia. So then why don’t you hear about Romeo being a Pedophile? If not, then why isn’t Shakespeare accused of even acknowledging the act of pedophilia as a base in one of his most prized and acclaimed plays?

       Emperors of “power”

Roman Emperor, Caligula, was a wild man and there was actually a movie on his reign and life called Caligula made in the late 70’s. There is a scene where he grabs two boys by the shoulder and leads them away to his bedchamber saying “We must love each other”. Gemellus, who was also one of the boys and his cousin, historians have said, was seventeen years old. Apparently old enough to commit homosexual acts. But the other boy was younger.

Pope Alexander VI had sexual affairs with his daughter and she actually had kids for him. I know it’s impossible which means he wasn’t her real father. Even though, he was her step- father, which still doesn't make it right.

“It is God [Allah] Who created you in a state of (helpless) weakness, then gave (you) strength after weakness, then, after strength, gave (you) weakness and a hoary head; He creates as He wills. And it is He Who has all knowledge and power”(30:54).

 

 

Ya Rabbi(Oh Lord)!!

Oh my lord! where are we going? It seems like for a few days I lost sight of you and now i hate this feeling of not knowing if I'm forgiven or not! I wish I'd never done it. I wish I stayed the way I was.
But I don't regret it, because its a lesson I've learned the hard way. Even though I still have this nagging worry, the temptation still remains to strong. But I promise, InshaAllah, I'll never do it again.
